Overview
Biobizkaia is an associated Clinical Research Unit for the Spanish Clinical Research Network (SCReN), a support platform funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII). SCReN platform is a research infrastructure network which facilitates independent/academic clinical research. The network includes 27 clinical research Units scattered in several administrative regions. Each Unit provides support to hospitals of the Spanish National Health System. La Paz University Hospital coordinates the SCReN Platform and provides scientific and technical support and a wide experience on the management of national and international projects.
