Scientific training

In our profession, acquiring knowledge and skills through competitive scientific training enables us to perform our duties with greater efficiency and quality.

Your participation is essential for us to identify scientific areas of interest. If you wish, you can send us your scientific training proposals (please include a name of a speaker; formacion@bio-bizkaia.eus).

The functions of the Scientific Training Unit are:

  • Improvement of the training methodology and, together with the Scientific Direction, development of the training agenda for scientific and technical staff..
  • Support in the organization of the Institute's own scientific activities, such as courses, seminars, conferences, and others.
    • Collaborating in the development of the scientific program.
    • Supporting speaker management.
    • Registering attendees.
    • Conducting satisfaction surveys.
    • Issuing certificates of attendance.

In collaboration with the Scientific Communication and Dissemination Unit:

  • Internal and external dissemination of the monthly and weekly training activity agenda.
  • Designing posters and audiovisual material.

The Human Resources staff will assist you with the procedures related to stays at other centers, the development of doctoral and master's theses, and other undergraduate and postgraduate activities (rrhh@bio-bizkaia.eus).

All of our scientific training is carried out through the Campus Biobizkaia. Create your profile and you will be able to view our training courses, register, download activity materials, and obtain certificates of attendance.
