Declaration of transparency
The Biobizkaia Health Research Institute is a non-profit Association, one of its values being transparency. That is why the Institute's Management Area makes this value its own, materializing in the achievement of Research objectives with transparency and effectiveness in the functions it performs.
Regarding funding, the Association receives both public and private funding from:
- Public bodies: MINECO, ISCIII, FEDER, Basque Government Department of Health, etc.
- Private entities: Pharmaceutical laboratories, private companies, foundations, associations, etc.
Principal researchers may receive donations for their research projects from Entities or individuals that are managed by the Institute for this purpose.
