Investigación en ciencias de la diseminación e implementación en servicios de salud

Actividades del grupo

Generar conocimientos científicos válidos para diseñar, aplicar y evaluar estrategias de implementación, que por un lado trasladen a la práctica clínica rutinaria intervenciones de probada eficacia, de manera rápida, factible, generalizada y sostenible, y por otro, promuevan el abandono de aquellas de nulo o escaso valor, mediante la aplicación de las teorías y procedimientos metodológicos emergentes en el ámbito de las Ciencias de la Diseminación e Implementación.

Para ello se abordarán los siguientes objetivos específicos:

  1. Identificar y priorizar problemas en la calidad de la atención, por defecto o por exceso, que requieran de la investigación en implementación; incluyendo en este proceso la perspectiva de los pacientes, sus cuidadores y de los ciudadanos en general.
  2. Describir la magnitud y variabilidad de dichos problemas en la calidad de los servicios y analicen sus causas, así como las barreras, facilitadores y procesos necesarios para solucionarlos; utilizando para ello teorías, modelos, marcos teóricos y métodos de investigación propios de la ciencia de la implementación.
  3. Diseñar científicamente, apoyándose en apropiadas teorías y en las evidencias disponibles, estrategias de implementación y/o de-implementación, hipotéticamente necesarias y suficientes para abordar los factores mencionados en el punto anterior, que determinan la adopción sistemática y generalizada de intervenciones de probada efectividad y el abandono de aquellas de escaso valor; pilotando su factibilidad y potencial efectividad para optimizar la práctica clínica, en las condiciones rutinarias de los servicios sanitarios.
  4. Evaluar la efectividad y eficiencia de dichas estrategias, estimando su impacto sobre el cambio de la práctica, su mantenimiento y sostenibilidad, describiendo la fidelidad a lo planificado en su ejecución y las adaptaciones necesarias, los factores asociados a su adecuada realización y al logro de los resultados.
  5. Trasladar y escalar al resto del sistema las estrategias que se hayan mostrado efectivas para optimizar la práctica asistencial y sus resultados; adaptándolas a entornos, pacientes, profesionales, centros o comunidades diferentes a donde fueron probadas; evaluando las adaptaciones necesarias y su efectividad.
  6. Divulgar a nivel científico, profesional y social los logros de la INVESTIGACION EN IMPLEMENTACION para contribuir a la transformación de la cultura investigadora del SNS y a la creación de sistemas de salud inteligentes, que aprendan continuamente de su propia experiencia asistencial.
