El objetivo de nuestro grupo de investigación es la mejora del proceso asistencial del niño y adolescente en Urgencias de Pediatría: Patología urgente en la infancia y adolescencia, a través de las líneas de investigación:
Patología infecciosa
Objetivo: Identificación del paciente con infección bacteriana potencialmente grave.
Coordinadores: Santiago Mintegi Raso; Borja Gómez Cortés.
Estudios descriptivos a través de registros (Lactante febril menor de 3 meses, aislamientos bacterianos en sangre y LCR).
Estudios prospectivos de cohortes para evaluar el rendimiento de tests diagnósticos o cambios en el manejo de estos pacientes.
Estudios epidemiológicos de incidencia de enfermedad bacteriana invasiva.
Patología respiratoria
Objetivo: Reducción de la morbilidad de la patología respiratoria aguda, asma, bronquiolitis y laringitis.
